"Your health is paramount. Nothing is more important. Look around and you can see obvious examples. Not only is being fit and in shape great appearance-wise, but is SO smart health-wise. Being lean and in shape helps the body to function better in every aspect. In the beginning when you start a program you can get "winded" easily because it is all new to you and your body is adjusting. Once your body becomes acclimated to the changes you will then process oxygen needed at a much more efficient level. That old saying "you are what you eat" is indeed accurate after all. Sometimes we don't understand that until it is too late."

"I am here to teach you proper form. I try my best to make something which is normally not "fun"..... FUN!
It does not have to be such a super serious process to get in shape. When I was a kid growing up back
in Westport Connecticut being outdoors was natural, as was running around with friends and playing
baseball or football which were normal activities. Today in the computer age kids and adults are less
active and hiding in their rooms "online". It's truly a different world. I try to instill in my clients the elements
that got me to where I am today. When you lift weights you are putting muscle on your body, and when you
do that it will in turn speed up your metabolism which might be a bit sluggish. I think it is nice to go to a
trainer that embodies fitness and is a true role model. Even I don't always eat correctly but I get back on
track quickly... as a client unfortunately you need to get back on track even quicker than me. I will teach you
the "how's and the why's about fitness."

How long will it take to get in shape? A relative question all determined by your own metabolism and work ethic. I can promise you a very hard and focused workout. I am here for you and will do my job. Together we will put our heads together and develop a "program" that fits your needs and current fitness level that's realistic yet challenging. Some people stay for a month and I have had clients that have been with me 5 + years. Ironically, I was "Mr. Fitness" in grade 4 so I am really doing something I truly love and have a passion for and perhaps destined. Like many people coming out of college I struggled to find a career that suited me but inevitably kept coming back to fitness and haven't looked back. I like the small studio and private atmosphere as do my clients. I've been training people since I was 27 and in those 23 years I have literally trained thousands of clients. Every client represents a unique challenge which I enjoy believe it or not! No 2 clients are alike and no 2 trainers are alike.
